Summer in San Francisco: I still (usually) need to wear cardigans, but I try to mix in elements that remind me of the sultry summers I grew up with.
Like warm peach and yellow, the color of northeastern summer sunsets. And one of my favorite pair of earrings, in the shape of cicadas, that bring to mind the sounds of summer nights.
Mix in some gold and caramel accents, add a white skirt with florals and sequins . . .
. . . and I’m the very image of summer!
What does summer mean for you?

Thanks Nic! At least it’s been fairly sunny, right?
I love that peach top – peach is one of my favorite colors and I never see enough people wearing it (and it, sadly, looks god awful on me), it looks so pretty on you. As for summer, I am just so happy that last we crossed the border into Saskatchewan and are back in the land where summer usually means carrying a cardigan with you as opposed to the awful heat and humidity of the New Haven area.

Thanks Courtney! I think you and I will forever disagree about summer. :) Though I have to admit that I find myself adjusting to the cooler summer temps in SF – perhaps I miss the hotter summer more in theory than fact!
